Cannabis Assisted Sessions

I am now offering Guided Cannabis Assisted Sessions for individuals, couples and small groups. These are available on-line as well as in person for those located in Los Angeles.

Cannabis sativa is a safe and sacred plant ally and tool which supports clients in turning inward, resolving tensions stored deep within the body, tracking inner sensations, and releasing traumas from the nervous system. Cannabis-assisted guiding or “Conscious Cannabis” is different than “getting high.” When used in an intentional therapeutic container with preparation and integration, it can deepen the therapeutic process and makes somatic (body-centered) trauma work more efficient and more effective.

Cannabis when used in this way can demonstrate properties similar to Psilocybin, MDMA and Ayahuasca. As these are becoming more recognized by the mainstream as having success in treating anxiety, depression and healing from trauma and PTSD, they are also prohibitive in nature due to legalities as well as other factors. Cannabis, which is legal and accessible in the state of California, provides a gentler way to explore deep inner work, while being able to achieve states that are just as powerful if not more so. Another benefit of working with cannabis is that you have more agency over your experience: you can adjust dosage, and the experience can range from 2-5 hours and you will be able to return to normal functioning after your session.

All of my guided journeys include preparation, journey and integration sessions. I work from a trauma-informed, mindfulness and somatic psychology perspective. Many of my clients begin with 1-2 hypnotherapy sessions to clarify goals and create the foundation for this work, and  the addition of journeying with cannabis helps them dive deeper to assist with releasing trauma and integrating lessons learned.

Conscious Cannabis

Participants have described this work as “enlightening” and “one of the most powerful psychedelic experiences I’ve had”. Conscious Cannabis is now being applied as a form of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy for treating anxiety, depression and healing from trauma and PTSD.

In addition I work with those who are exploring other forms of transformation, including business owners, creatives, community leaders, therapists, parents, caregivers, and anyone interested in personal growth.

This practice may help you with:

  • letting go of anxiety and stress
  • relaxing into deeper connection with your body
  • working through grief and depression
  • somatic release of past experiences
  • unlocking new levels of creativity and problem solving
  • reconnecting with your purpose in life
  • exploring and expanding consciousness

Psychedelic Integration

After a powerful transformative experience it is important to be able to integrate the lessons learned.  You may receive profound insights during psychedelic experiences. Journaling and self-care is essential during this time and I will follow up with you to help you to implement what you’ve discovered and maintain the action steps to move forward.

Psychedelic Safety

Working with cannabis is very safe for most people. Yet like any psychedelic experience, these can be very emotionally intense and it is always best to err on the side of safety. You will be asked to sign a waiver and participation agreement before participating in any event or journey. If you have any questions or concerns please speak with a medical doctor.

What do I do to prepare for a journey?

1-2 prep sessions are included with every journey. We will meet online through Zoom.

Cannabis is not for everyone, and keeping you safe is important to me. I encourage you to prepare for this experience through mindful self-awareness, setting an intention, journaling, and fasting from cannabis use beforehand.

Bring your own cannabis, yoga mat, pillows, eye covering, journal and any sacred objects that feel important to you.

If you are attending a Conscious Cannabis Event you will need to complete a Safety Assessment and Participation Agreement.

Can these take place virtually and how effective is it?

One of the blessings of this past year has been to be able to offer this work in the virtual space. Although in-person journeys are preferred, you can participate in this experience anywhere you have a strong WiFi signal and a setting where you can create your “nest” and be free of distraction.

“I felt very safe during the session. She was very open to answer any questions and provided me with everything I needed to know to have a good session. The initial phone conversations before the session helped me feel like she knew what she was doing and I could let go and allow the experience to happen. I had a very profound experience and I believe it really helped me overcome my PTSD that I’ve been crippled with for at least the past three years. I feel like my nervous system has been rewired. It’s been a few weeks since the session and I wondered if the good effects would wear off. No! I still feel great. Jordan is an angel who came to the rescue. I am a true believer in this work. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

“I have tried other plant medicine ceremonies, but this was the most profound. Jordan did such an amazing job explaining how to set up and what to expect. The way she opened the session was great to get settled in for a wild ride, that literally changed how I see my life and existence. The music she chose was the icing on the cake that helped guide the journey. It brought up things to work on and showed me where I should be. A most amazing journey! Thank you Jordan!”

“I did a canna journey with Jordan two weeks ago and it was amazing.  Jordan guided me perfectly through a long and enlightening trip.  She is great to work with and the experience was very worthwhile.
